Massage Therapy Association of British Columbia (MTABC); a non-profit organization and British Columbia's professional massage therapist's association; worked with Kinky Logic to create a website and custom application solution that communicated to not only their existing membership, but with new and interested students or professionals in the field of massage therapy.
Kinky Logic developed a new model for MTABC to communicate to these audiences, while making the information relevant and easy to navigate. The website allows all existing members to log into a separate, unique "members only" area of the site, providing members the ability to receive "members only" job postings, news on special MTABC initiatives, videos, guest lecture information, and make membership payments online. The non-member portion of the website allows individuals to search for RMT's throughout the province, showcase their contact information and various abilities, as well as allow new individuals the opportunity to login and join MTABC.
The website also showcases the latest events, conferences or news for MTABC, seen under "RMT What's New". Overviews of types of conditions requiring therapy are available as well as valuable downloadable information on MTABC which are stored on the website.
Along with the creation of the multi-access website, Kinky Logic developed a unique and separate "MTABC Member Manager" application. This customized application talks directly to the MTABC website, and allows multiple staff users access to all information stored on the website database to be downloaded to the application database so all staff at MTABC can process new applicants. The "MTABC Member Manager" application allows staff to make payments, send out notification emails, send out mass emails to their membership (according to specific groups), print out custom reports, and record all member information in individual member records.
A Content Management System allows the staff at MTABC to edit all website content regularly, keeping the website and "RMT What's New" up to date.
